
The role of the Board is to provide strategic oversight and direction for the Heart Foundation’s activities and ensure that those organisational activities are directed towards achieving its vision of an Australia free of heart disease and its mission to prevent heart disease and improve the heart health and quality of life of all Australians through our work in prevention, support and care and research. Professor Clara Chow is a Cardiologist at Westmead hospital and Professor of Medicine at the University of Sydney with a leading research focus on cardiovascular disease prevention and expertise in digital health interventions development. Read more.

Associate Professor David Colquhoun is a cardiologist in private practice. He is also actively involved in research and preventative cardiology; these activities are reflected in his role on the Heart Foundation’s Heart Health and Research Committees. Read more.
